Twenty-three apartments on the edge of the historic centre of Vila Nova de Gaia, a ten-minute walk from the D. Luís I bridge. Completed in 2023 and sold out before construction finished.
Gaia Coevo Residences is a multi-family building with 23 apartments — 8 studios, 12 one-bedroom and 3 two-bedroom — served by 13 garage spaces and storage units.
The building rises three floors above street level along most of its length, four floors at the corner, and one floor below street level for parking and storage. It has a lift, two entrances — from Rua 1.º de Maio and from Rua dos Polacos — pedestrian access to the landscaped courtyard, and a garage ramp on Rua dos Polacos.
It was built to a high-end finishing standard. In the common areas, walls were clad in timber panelling and floors laid in epoxy. In the apartments, kitchens have ceramic flooring and compact quartz worktops, living rooms and bedrooms have pine flooring, walls are in painted plasterboard, and bathrooms are tiled with wall-hung sanitary ware.
Every apartment was handed over with an induction hob, extractor, fitted cabinets, air conditioning and hot water from a solar and electric cylinder. The building holds an A energy rating.

Gaia Coevo sits in a quiet, typically residential neighbourhood of one-way streets and public parking, three minutes on foot from the metro station and close to a wide range of services, from supermarkets to primary and secondary schools.
It is also on the doorstep of the main tourist area of Gaia and Porto: Jardim do Morro and the D. Luís I bridge are a ten-minute walk away, Cais de Gaia and Cais da Ribeira fifteen. By car, the A44 and the Infante bridge are reached via Avenida D. João II, 800 metres from the building.
Gaia Coevo is one of several Red Dot residential projects in Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia.
